Julia Torgovitskaya Rapoport

CEO & Principal Manager

Julia is a trained opera singer and relates first-hand to the journey that performing artists undertake on their quest to success. She has extensive consulting experience with both arts organizations and individuals with particular expertise in guiding projects from concept to impactful launch, motivation, empowerment, and team dynamics. Credited by clients for cultivating an environment of trust, as well as co-creating a team and platform for building organization around nascent ideas and new projects, Julia is known for her unique combination of business savvy and heart-centered nature. Julia has also been recognized for her her writings, which have been published in international publications, including The Moodie Report. Having earned a Master of Science in Executive Leadership from the University of San Diego, Julia is passionate about introducing artists and arts leaders to the concept of approaching their careers and work with an entrepreneurial mindset, and using proven business concepts for their professional success. Julia earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Music, International Relations, and Russian and East European Studies with High Honors at Tufts University, also minoring in Philosophy. Julia received Beta Gamma Sigma distinction for her graduate studies and Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa for her undergraduate work. Julia is on the Board of Directors at Classical KUSC radio and Ohana Arts, and is the co-author of the book Awakening Your Business Brain: An iCadenza Guide to Launching your Music Career, published in November 2015.

Jennifer Rosenfeld

Co-Founder

Jennifer has extensive experience working with musicians of all genres on identifying and pursuing their professional goals, and overcoming the obstacles that come up along the way. She has also worked with organization leaders on creating a culture of innovation and developing promotional and strategic initiatives. She received her JD/MBA from Stanford Law School and Graduate School of Business. She sits on the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association and KDFC, the Bay Area’s classical public radio station.

Megan Bailey

Executive Assistant to the CEO

Hailing from Denton, TX, Megan is a versatile trumpeter, educator, administrator, and entrepreneur. Megan is in the final stage of completing her Doctor of Musical Arts Degree at the University of North Texas studying Trumpet Performance and Music Entrepreneurship. She also completed her Bachelor of Music degree at DePaul University and her Master of Music degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Maryl Fleisher

Vice President of Operations

Maryl has worked with multi-faceted arts institutions for the past 18 years including leading the Artist Department at the Los Angeles Philharmonic, artistic programming positions with the Mondavi Center of Performing Arts, UC Davis and The Getty Center, as well as company managing Bravo Televison’s On With the Show and Camp Broadway’s National Tours and Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade float performance. She currently leads Cadenza’s remote team in daily operations.

Ben Cohen

Vice President of Booking and Tour Development

Ben oversees the strategic planning and execution of national tours across the domestic United States while serving as agent and manager for dozens of artists both in the US and abroad.  In addition to his role at Cadenza, Ben serves on the Membership Committee for Western Arts Alliance (WAA), the Professional Development Committee for North American Performing Arts Managers and Agents (NAPAMA), and is a member of Cohort III of the Association for Performing Arts Professionals’ Leadership Fellows Program.

Layne Thompson

Booking Agent, Southern Region

Layne is a native of Charlotte, N.C., and has a BM in Voice from the University of N.C. School of the Arts. Her love of music began at the young age of 3 when she started piano, but has added opera soloist, vocal and piano teacher, studio musician and conductor to her list of “musical interests”! Prior to joining Cadenza as a Booking Agent, Layne worked as the Executive Director of Riverside Fine Arts Association in Jacksonville and was a Cadenza Artists client. Layne has a background in small business administration with several nonprofit organizations, and joined Cadenza in 2018.

John Schwerbel

Booking Agent, Midwest Region

John is Cadenza’s Booking Agent for the Midwest Region, representing our world class roster and working closely with North American presenters and promoters to bring unparalleled artistry to audiences. A native of Menasha, Wisconsin, John earned a BFA in Jazz Performance (piano) from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) in 2014.  Prior to his work at Cadenza Artists, John was the Artistic Planning Coordinator at the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

Cindy Hwang

Booking Consultant, Asia and Middle East
President/Founder, InPulse Creatives

Cindy is an experienced consultant with a long history of working in the entertainment industry. Cindy has her own performing arts and entertainment company, InPulse Creatives, that focuses on business development and touring efforts in the Middle East and Far East.

Amy Trieger

Community Manager, iCadenza and Cadenza Artists

Originally from Kentucky, Amy is a dancer and holds an MA in Arts Administration and a BFA in Dance performance. She is a founding and current member of WholeProject, a Miami-based contemporary dance company; and co-founder and director of Buskerfest Miami.

Sarah Horne

Project Manager

Hailing from St.Croix, USVI Sarah is a dancer, curator and arts administrator that completed her BFA in Dance at SUNY Brockport, and her MA in Arts Administration at NYU. Before Cadenza, Sarah worked at New York City Ballet, The Skirball Center, and consulted for artists and arts organizations throughout NYC. In addition to her work at Cadenza and iCadenza, she currently runs her own dance-based production company, RahDanceWorks.

Linna Carter

Artist Services Manager

Linna is an accomplished actress, singer, and writer. She has recently been seen in several films, and has appeared on many popular tv shows and over 20 TV commercials. Linna joined Cadenza in 2015 and currently serves as the company’s Artists Services Manager. She enjoys working with artists and presenters to help them deliver powerful and inspiring musical experiences to our communities near and far.

Bianca Saltaformaggio

Artist Services and Booking Coordinator

Bianca is a born and raised New Yorker who has spent most of her career as a dancer, dance captain, and rehearsal director for various regional musical theaters, dance companies and an International and National Cirque show. It was with her time with Cirque Le Masque where she fell in love with the production side of theater and had been freelancing as a production coordinator up until she excitingly joined Team Cadenza.

Kassandra Kocoshis

Artists Services Consultant

Kassandra is a talented percussionist who has played with artists such as Carlos Vives, Kanye West, Vanessa Williams, Young the Giant, Vahagni, Mickey Hart, Shaherah White, Adam del Monte, Hamed Nikpay, and many more. As an artist administrator she has worked for the Chicago Symphony, Aspen Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, and Los Angeles Philharmonic. Kassandra is also a member of California soul band Beat Mosaic and Las Chikas.

Madison Wagner

Currently completing her BMA at DePauw University, Madison is majoring in both Music and Economics. During her senior year she held a Performing Arts Internship at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, where she discovered her passion working with performers. In college she has broadened her experience by holding the position of Assistant Stage Manager for DePauw’s opera Street Scene, interning with the King’s Singers, and leading a marketing team for a growing local company.
