As a producer, director and designer, Elliott Forrest custom tailors the orchestral concert experience, from high-concept projects to pops concerts, through the design and use of integrative multimedia. His artistic vision has touched halls across America, from Lincoln Center to the Hollywood Bowl, and most notably he has worked with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, The Atlanta Symphony, the Little Orchestra Society, The Houston Symphony, The Pasadena Pops, the New York Philharmonic, The Long Beach Symphony, The Mount Holyoke Symphony and the New Haven Symphony, among others. Mr. Forrest is the director of the upcoming PBS TV Special of the new oratorio Considering Matthew Shepard and is also the writer of The Babbling Orchestra, a new work for families. His shows have included Music Takes Flight with Sigourney Weaver, a 200th Anniversary Concert Celebrating Abraham Lincoln with James Earl Jones, Symphonic Sports-tacular, Comic Book Live, a concert version of Götterdämmerung and several versions of Symphonic Spectacular. Using a full range of video, projections, lights, and other theatrical elements to create captivating experiences, Elliott has directed short films to accompany live orchestral music, created extensive visuals for concerts of various lengths and even crowd-sourced images from the audience during the concert!
