A beloved Canadian story reimagined through the beauty of dance, Anne of Green Gables – The Ballet® brings the imaginative world of Lucy Maud Montgomery’s classic novel to life in a playful, colourful, and deeply evocative production. Choreographed by Bengt Jörgen, this original full-length ballet follows the adventures of Anne Shirley, the spirited orphan whose boundless imagination, fierce individuality, and capacity for love transform the lives of those around her in the fictional community of Avonlea, Prince Edward Island. Through expressive choreography, beautiful costumes, beautifully crafted sets, and a sweeping orchestral score, the production captures the charm of life in Atlantic Canada while exploring timeless themes of belonging, friendship, family, and the courage to be yourself. As the only authorized full-length ballet adaptation of Anne of Green Gables, this remarkable production celebrates a story that has captured hearts for generations, offering audiences a fresh and moving way to experience one of Canada’s most cherished literary treasures.
